I'd suspect a high chance that your alternator got ruined sitting in the water. IIRC that's not uncommon with these when wading. If battery looks OK, suggest looking at the starter motor due to the same. not-really-adam • 1 yr. ago. Update: it wasn't the starter, the alternator or the earth strap.
